Today at 20:00 with online premiere of feature film FOCUS, GRANDMA by Pjer Žalica, begins 26th Sarajevo Film Festival. Right after that, at 21:00 on a square in front of shopping mall Plaza at Bišća polje, the same film will be screen as part of the program of 26th Sarajevo Film Festival in Mostar. From 10:00 tomorrow morning, audience will be able to see all the films selected for this year’s BH Film Programme.
This year the programme incorporates 5 feature, 9 feature documentaries, 2 short, 14 short documentaries and 14 student films. The student films will once again compete for 3 prizes: Best Student Film, Special Jury Prize and Special Mention.
Although, watching films in movie theatres is one of the most important parts of enjoying the film art, online edition of BH Film Programme has several advantages.
It happened to you that you couldn’t get into the film screening because there is no more tickets? No problem, for most of the films, there is no restriction on number of tickets that can be bought.
You would like to see films that are screened at inconvenient time? That is also solved. You can see the films at any time during the Festival.
You are not in Sarajevo, you’re not even in Bosnia and Herzegovina, but you would like to see some of the films that will be screened? Good news is that large number of films can be seen worldwide, and almost the whole program is available in countries of former Yugoslavia.
All you need to do is go to ondemand.sff.ba, register an account and choose one of the film bundles depending on where you’re located and what you would like to see.
